Spirit of the Cheyenne

On a river valley
Camped the Cheyenne
Over two thousand
They had followed the buffalo
Hunting
Living
As their forefathers had done
Proud and happy
Protectors of the buffalo Spirit
Who provided
As they waited to give up
Their lives
