Richard Fields

Based on family letters December 1826.

I am a Red man
Man of honor
Who will not be
Imposed upon
In this way
They look to me for protection
We will lift our tomahawks
You will not
Conquer this land
Or our people
If I am beaten
I will resign to fate
If not beaten
I will hold these lands
By the force
Of my warriors!
