Happy Tribe

On the mouth of the Yukon River
Lived the happy tribe
Honoring Manitou
Protecting the weak
Then came the Igaluk
The moon spirit
They wondered why
Who was in pain?
Until the rains
Didn't come
And the river dried up
They wondered why
They had honored the great one
Why were they punished?
Because they were happy?
