Call to the Spirits

The Chief danced around the circle fire
singing his haughty tribal song
all were mesmerized by his words
as they beat on the drums

In their minds-eye
They could see the wolf
While he dances with the Chief
Mimicking each movement with grace
Giving them the story that they seek

He sings of the wolf legend
Handed down to him
from his grandfather
Sharing the lesson
with the young braves
