I'm going home to the land I love
Where eagles soar on wings above.
I'm going home to the land I left behind
To live the freedom I will find.
I'm going back to where the truth began
Searching for the man I am.
I'm going back to recover my past
Knowing I'll find peace of mind at last.
I'm going back and there I will stay
Walking and living the Nakota way.
I'm going back to where I belong
With the one I love who makes me strong.
