Dean Couchie (Ojibway) is a member of the Nipissing First Nation, near North Bay, Ontario, Canada.

I learnt to bead from my mom at 15 years of age, and did it for 3 years. 39 years later I started again. It's a nice hobby which I enjoy doing. I hope you enjoy the work that I do.
