This rosette medallion necklace is a tribute to Fallen Star. Fallen Star is a character in Lakota legends about the Lakota Star. Fallen Star was viewed as a protector, a bringer of light and higher consciousness.
The Fallen Star #2 beaded rosette is 3¼" in diameter, and is backed with faux leather and features a colorful 2½" fringe.
The necklace portion of this piece is beaded in traditional zig zag stitch using black seed beads. Each side measures 13¾", or a total length of 27½".
This makes it easy to slide over most heads without having to deal with a closure.
