Gretchen Price : The Guardians

I was on my way up Kitts Peak near Tucson when I came across this beautiful little waterfall spilling over the rocks. The summer monsoon had been abundant, greening the landscape enough to make you think of Ireland and to replenish the falls for a couple of weeks. After cooling off down at the bottom I climbed up and over and down again; In so doing, I could only conclude that others, in other times probably did the same. It was not uncommon for the Apache to roam from the Arizona highlands following obscure trails from upland to upland into the middle of Mexico.
