The wolf draws strength from ritual. It is a teacher, a leader, and very sociable.
Aromatic cedar has a mysterious quality and can feature knots, grain marks, deep red-browns, and areas of cream-colored sapwood. The Bass in E is a good choice for a player's first bass flute, since beginners may find the deeper basses somewhat more difficult to play.
The Bass is also available in Black Walnut and in American Cherry, as well as in the key of Eb.
Other totems (end carvings) are available: turtle, horse, raven, eagle, heron, bear, bison, and owl.
